As I’m sure everyone’s heard by now, the volcano disappeared. There are lots of rumors flying around about where it’s been seen (behind the longhouse, next to F-Lot, blah blah blah). Truth is, no one knows, and all search efforts have been fruitless. The grounds crew didn’t take it. Evidence is slim. This is a tragic loss, but it’s not a complete bust. The disappearance has generated a lot of buzz. At least one person outside the club has expressed interest in a “missing volcano” t-shirt. We should see what we can do with this in the future. |
| Nobody wants to go to the sewage treatment plant, so we’re going to use the bus for the Linus Pauling Symposium instead. If you’re going, don’t forget to pay your $7 for dinner. |

The budget proposal for winter quarter is due Monday. The officers will be meeting on Sunday at 5:30 at Mikako’s house to discuss it and write it up. |

Please, please, please everyone remember to go to the S&A meeting on November 15th, around 3pm. We will be presenting and defending our budget proposal, and we need all the warm bodies we can muster. |
