-BAKESALES-We will have a bakesale at the usual time and place next week (Tuesday, middle of the day, in the CAB). Don’t forget to bake or table if you signed up to do so. Starting week 3 (the week after next) we will start having bakesales on Thursdays as well, if we can get the space. |
| -CHOCOLATE BARS-Dharshi has been selling lots of chocolate bars out of her office, but there are still 15 boxes left. The rest must be sold, so members have begun signing up for the number of boxes they would like to take responsibility for. The bars have to be sold for at least $1.50 each in order to yield a profit.

-RAFFLE-We’re planning a raffle, and the prizes will be items/services that have been donated by local businesses. Through the efforts of a small committee, we have received a few donations already, but we need many more before the raffle can get off the ground. If you have any flair for salesmanship and would be willing to hit up a few businesses, we could definitely use your help in pursuing additional donations. |

-ACS CONFERENCE APPLICATION-The application is now available on the Chemistry Club website. Just go to scicomp.evergreen.edu and click on Chemistry Club (under the heading “Science@Evergreen” on the left).

| -CAREERS IN CHEMISTRY-There will be a careers in chemistry event week 5, Thursday February 7th from 11:30 to 6:30 at the King County Environmental Labs. More information will be made available soon.
